Hii guys this is TechWiki again with a new topic. This is topic is for the techy ones, and the people who are interested in technologies and computer.

This is topic is related to computer. And we will know about the very cool cmd trick, hope so you will like this.

So, without any further delay let’s get started…

Today I will show the commands and the trick through which we can paly any video or any movie through Command Prompt. Just with the commands and not even clicking on that file.

In this article I have shown two methods, first of playing video and second one is at the last. And that’s the bonus part.

Steps to be followed to play video: -

Step1: Open command prompt, in the location where you have your video files. In my case it is at the desktop. So, I will type in cmd “cd desktop”.

Step2: Type “dir” to see the number of files present there.

Step3: Now go to the file which contains the videos. By typing “cd (and the name of the file)”.

Step4: Again type “dir” to see the list of videos.

Step5: Copy the name of the video or if movie than its name, and paste it.

Step6: After that hit enter.

Step7: Finally, your video will be played automatically.

Now comes the BONUS PART-

In this Bonus tip, I want to tell you that we can use this method to see the photos also without even going to the original file of the pictures, just by the simple command. So, let’s see its steps.

Steps to be followed to play video: -

Step1: Open command prompt, in the location where you have your image files. In my case it is at the desktop so I will type in cmd “cd desktop”.

Step2: Type “dir” to see the number of files present there.

Step3: Now go to the file which contains the image. By typing “cd (and the name of the file)”.

Step4: Again type “dir” to see the list of images.

Step5: Copy the name of the image, and paste it.

Step6: After that hit enter.

Step7: Finally, your image will be shown automatically.
