Pendrive To RAM

Hii guys this is TechWiki again with a new topic of Masters in Computer.

So guys if you want to be come the master in computer than be with us and support us because your support is only the thing that motivates us and gives us the willpower to make the new and latest posts on Ethical Hacking and Computer and technology.

So without any further delay lets get started.

Today's our topic is very much important to computer user and computer science students the topic is of making Pendrive into a RAM for free. If your computer has very less RAM then you can increase your RAM just by this method. This method is very much important not only for the computer science students and its users but for everyone.

For this we just need any Pendrive the size doesn't matter it can be of 4gb,8gb,16gb or 32gb or 64gb.

Now follow the steps to make a pendrive RAM ---------

1. Note that you have to format your flash drive or you can use it without formatting

but for the better performance please format it.

2. Just insert your flash drive or pendrive into your system.

3. Then go to its properties by a right clicking on it.

4. At the top you will see the option of ready boost just click on it.

5. After that a window will open.

6. Choose the third option use this device and click apply and then ok.

7. Now wait for few minutes or it can be in few seconds.

8. Now your flash drive will be ready for being a RAM. Remember that it will be a virtual RAM it will be shown in the system info but it will give the performance according size of your flash drive.

So now your virtual RAM is made.

But some times in windows 7 or in any other versions of windows an error shows that you cannot use this device as a virtual

ram, but don’t worry I have a solution for that . To work properly the readyboost

just go to windows search box and type

services and hit enter. Now go to the window opened and search their for “superfetch” and right click on it and make it enable and again right click on it and do it in the running mode and then hit entre. That’s it now you will not find any error.

And those who are using windows10 they will not face this problem.

Now we also need to know the logic behind this ready boost. The logic behind this is that it just saves the cache file into the flash drive. Now you all must be thinking that What is cache file?

Don’t worry I will tell you this also, cache file means your browsing data, in simple manner what ever you regularly do in your pc or laptop. This is called cache file .

Our intrernet browser also saves cache file means the pages that you visit regularly that must be your youtube, gmail, google etc. the browser save this as a cache file because the browsers know that this pages you visit regularly. So to give the faster response it saves these all as a cache file. This same happens in the ready boost feature it also saves the cache file to give you a fast response in short time or even in nano seconds. This is the working of ready boost.
