What Is Internet ????

The literal meaning of Internet is (Antarjal).

Which means connections of networks and especially different types of networks .

• So with this image we can understand   very clearly as it is showing the number of connections coming - going and vice-versa Now I want to give some names of different type of protocols by which we should surf Internet -HTTPS - Hyper Text Transfer Protocol
• SMTP - Simple Mail Transfer Protocol.           
• FTP - File Transfer Protocol.                             
• TCP - Transmission Control Protocol.          

  IMAP - Internet Message Access Protocol.    Now lets talk about What Is Protocols ?  In computer network , the data is transmitted from one point to another with the help of data communication software. 

It instructs the computer and its  peripherals as to how the data is to be transferred .These procedures are   embedded in the data communication software.

Thus, a  protocol is a set of of rules and procedures which establishes a link to control the data transmission between the two points (sender and the reciever).

It allows to access the commonly used protocols as discussed above.
